Nestled in the Eurobodalla region, Mogo is a hidden gem for mountain biking, offering a diverse trail network that caters to all skill levels.

Mogo is a highlight for riders seeking variety and challenge. The area boasts gravity-specific trails, flowy intermediate tracks, and beginner-friendly pedalling loops, ensuring something for everyone. The trails weave through picturesque eucalyptus forests, with natural features like rock formations adding character to the ride.

The afternoon here will set the perfect tone for an adventure-packed trip. We’ll settle into comfortable accommodation nearby, ready to unwind and prepare for the days ahead.

Day 2 - Ride Narooma

The next day, we head to the beautiful coastal town of Narooma, a must-visit destination for mountain bikers seeking scenic rides with a relaxed vibe. Nestled between the ocean and lush forests, Narooma offers trails that highlight the natural beauty of the Bodalla State Forest. These tracks provide a mix of flowing, intermediate routes and more technical sections, making them perfect for riders who enjoy variety. Along the way, you'll be treated to stunning views of the coastline and the area's renowned turquoise waters. Narooma’s mountain biking trails are complemented by its laid-back charm, and a welcoming atmosphere adding to its allure. It’s the perfect blend of adventure and tranquillity to make your second day unforgettable.

Day 3 - Ride Eden

Day three takes us to Eden, a destination that stands out for its diverse and gravity-focused trail network. The trails here cater to all riding styles, with smooth, fast-flowing sections for those who love to keep up the momentum and technical elements that challenge even experienced riders. What makes Eden particularly special is its location—set against the backdrop of lush state forests and the sparkling Sapphire Coast, every trail offers incredible scenery, from towering trees to glimpses of the ocean. The standout feature is the blend of gravity and cross-country trails, providing something for everyone while maintaining a strong connection to the natural environment.

Day 4 - Relax Tathra

Day four offers a slower pace, allowing you to unwind and recharge in the charming coastal town of Tathra. It is known for its relaxed atmosphere and beautiful beaches. Tathra is a perfect spot to mix gentle exploration with downtime. For those still wanting to ride, the local trail network offers easy, scenic options that meander through coastal bushland, suitable for riders of all levels. Alternately, spend your time strolling along the sand, reading a book, visiting quaint cafes, or browsing local shops for unique finds. This is a day to soak in the beauty of the South Coast and enjoy its laid-back vibe.

In the late afternoon, we’ll leave the coast behind and drive to Thredbo, ready to transition from sea level to alpine terrain for the final leg of the journey. Thredbo promises a complete change of scenery and an exciting conclusion to this mountain biking adventure.

Day 5 - Ride Thredbo

On the fifth day, we ride at Thredbo Mountain Bike Park, one of Australia’s premier alpine biking destinations. Thredbo’s extensive trail network offers something for everyone, from beginner-friendly green trails to adrenaline-pumping downhill runs for advanced riders. The area is now known for its inclusivity, with trails designed to cater to all abilities, ensuring everyone can enjoy the breathtaking alpine scenery.

A standout feature of Thredbo is that it is Australia’s only lift-accessed MTB park, which makes for a unique and memorable riding experience. Riders can take a chairlift or gondola to the top of the mountain, saving their energy for the exhilarating descents. The mix of alpine terrain, professionally designed tracks, and lift-assisted riding make Thredbo an unforgettable destination.

Day 6 - Thredbo Valley and Return

On the final day of our adventure, we take a relaxed ride along the iconic Thredbo Valley Trail (TVT), a scenic and flowing track that offers the perfect way to wrap up our trip. Starting in Thredbo Village, the trail winds alongside the crystal-clear waters of the Thredbo River through picturesque alpine landscapes, lush eucalypt forests, and open grasslands. The TVT is a favourite for its gentle gradients, smooth switchbacks, and incredible views of the surrounding Snowy Mountains, making it enjoyable for riders of all levels.

After the morning’s ride, we’ll regroup for the journey back to Canberra, reminiscing about the incredible experiences shared during this unforgettable mountain biking tour.

  • Who is this trip suitable for?

The retreat offers flexibility to cater to riders with strong beginner, intermediate, and advanced skills. Depending on the group size, one or two guides may be available. Usually, a guide will either accompany less confident riders on easier trails or support at the end of the group on longer routes. The trip is designed to allow more confident riders to explore independently if they choose.

  • Is this a Women's Only Trip?

Certainly is! The trip is specifically designed for women, creating a safe and inclusive environment that fosters female empowerment. It offers a unique opportunity for women to connect, support each other, and embark on a journey of self-discovery and personal growth. So, yes, it is a women's only trip.

  • What are the skills lessons?

On most days, an hour or two will be set aside for a more traditional skills lesson for anyone who wants to participate. Our coaches will geek out with some theory and then put into practice a specific mountain bike skill. If lessons aren’t your thing, no problem. Just hit the trails either with one of the other guides or head off by yourself exploring.

  • Are there male and female guides and coaches?

This is a female-led trip, with most of our guides and coaches being women. We believe in creating an empowering and supportive environment for all participants. Depending on the specific trip, we may have male support staff who assist in the background with roles such as driving, cooking, bike maintenance, and occasional skills lessons. While these male staff members play an important part in the smooth running of the trip, they remain in support roles, ensuring the focus stays on the female-led experience.

  • What sort of a bike do I need?

For this trip, we think you will have a much better experience on a dual-suspension bike.

You must ensure your bike has been recently serviced and bring some spare parts. We will have staff with moderate bike mechanic skills along for the trip. Some of the destinations will have bike shops and support. As with all our trips, we are there if you need help building and packing your bike out of the bag/box you transport it in.

  • How do I book?

Head to our dates and inclusions page for details
